"I started drawing the horse after watching your first exercise and realised what a difference it makes if you start with the shoulder and mid section rather than the head.  The horse came together as a whole more easily and in proportion. 

Trying acrylic ink was a change for me and I love it! I was surprised by the results.  My horses seem to come alive.

"I was struggling with my first large expressive equine piece, trying to bring a small study to life.
